The Word of God states that as the earth remaineth seedtime and harvest....shall not cease. Well, that means that there will always be times to sow seeds and harvest what has grown. The issue is sowing. If you don't put the see in the soil, there will be no harvest. I am a farmer. I sow seeds for vegetables and herbs. I truly love it. I love to see the plants emerge from the soil. I don't go in blind, meaning that I know what I should be harvesting, because I know the seeds that I sowed. You should never not know what you should harvest, the name of the seed is the name of the plant that you should harvest.
Spiritually, when we sow seeds in church or a ministry, we should know what we want to harvest. Name your seed! This includes your tithes and offering. If you don't know what you have sown for, how will you know what you're looking for? When we petition the throne of God, we should also expect God to answer. Always expect your request to be fulfilled. Look for the seedling of the seed that you have sown to emerge from the soil.
The seed has two purposes: to eat and to sow. If the seed is sown, it will produce a product that will give more seeds. If the seed is eaten, you have no seed. We are full of seeds: seeds for works of the flesh or seeds for fruit of the spirit.
We sow everyday, but what do we desire to see as a harvest? We can change the world for tomorrow by what we sow today!
Remember, the power of death and life is in the power of the tongue. The seeds you sow from your mouth grow in the spirit of others. Be mindful of what you sow into others. Be Blessed and stay open to the voice of God. Write down what you're sowing seed for, date it and put it in a place where you can see it. Remember InSightOnMind.
